Question about 1998 Camry Dashboard

Hello all, I am new here and just recently purchased a 1998 5sfe Camry with only 103218 miles on the clock.

I am not too mechanically inclined but so far I have changed and flushed the coolant and power steering, got new tires and brakes, and changed the timing belt.

One object I do not seem to understand how to pull out is the trim bezel around the dashboard. Almost all of the bulbs have died in the gauges and I have bought new ones, but I cannot understand how you are supposed to undo the two clips (one by the vent and the other by the clock). I tried pulling with brute force but that has done nothing and I fear of bending it.

I have searched many topics here, which is how I found out about the bulbs. I have not found any information on removing this trim, if there is a trick or tool I can use.

Yes I have removed the two screws on top. If only it was as easy as sliding it out but it's stuck in there good.

You're saying to pull on the cluster? I'm just trying to take off the trim first lol. I'm surprised at myself because I thought I'd be capable of doing this.

Look at the links he posted. Shows trim coming off first with pictures.
