Any way to check lambda is Toyota OEM?

Hi All,

Chances are, that my recently bought 3gen 96er Camry is a bit over the limits on the MOT test. I got traces in the administrative system here, that it hadn't been measured at all, and got a worse official grade because of this. But. It consumes a bit more than planned, and it can be 2 things you know. Catalytic converter and lambda sensor. I don't know about these yet, but would like to check if the lambda is OEM or not. Any idea to do it?
I can buy new OEM one for 50 euros now. It's a good deal, but we don't know yet if it's required. How to check if the catalytic converter is in good shape?
Will have the car checked on the exhaust gases first.
Thanks for any idea!

Steve

if your O2 sensors were bad, you would have a check engine light on since your car is OBDII

Lambda sensors probably have the OEM maufacturer's name roll-stamped on them: "Denso".

I have an air leak somewhere around my exhaust manifold, I will check if the gaskets there are ok. I see in the PDF, that there are two O2 sensors. Are they the same?
I have the initial inpression, that gas consumption is higher than should be. And I have learned already that the previous owner was quite untidy with the car. What do you think where should I start to check things? Air filter is new, as are the spark plugs. I will check them if they are correct with the correct gap anyways. Thanks for any help!
