possible oil leak, 93 4cy camryLE, need help

The mechanic said there could be the o-ring broken, hes not sure unless he tear the components apart. Looks like I am on this forum for a second opinion. The oil is coming from around the oil filter base. The oil leak when I start the engine, it leaks badly. It also leaks for a while after I turn off the engine, it possibly b/c the remaining oil is retreating back to the pan. Anyone experienced these sort of issue? What part do I need?

Sorry for my low-res&shaky image taken by 1gen iphone. Didn't have dslr with me this time.

Thanks.

It is leaking from the oil cooler (where the two coolant lines connect). There are two gaskets beneath it, and as far as I know they are only available from the dealership, @ around $6 for the pair. The part numbers are 90301‑52006 and 15785‑35010. It's not a difficult procedure - remove the oil filter, then use a 30mm socket to unscrew the nut which holds on the oil cooler, remove the old gaskets and clean their surfaces, and install new gaskets after coating lightly with engine oil. You may find it easiest to disconnect the coolant lines so that the oil cooler can be completely removed, but this requires that you drain the coolant.

Thank you so much for your reply.

As the mechanic told me he want to do a big operation on my car like taking it apart, quote me 50 dollars for the repair and not 100% sure it is the problem he thinks. Actually I have been to 2 repair shop, they all told me the same thing that require big operation and not sure the problem.

I hope this is exactly the problem I am having. Is there possible that it could be another leakage that would leak from the same place?

There aren't any other oil seals in this area. I've had the same leak on my car - replaced the oil cooler gaskets and the leak is no more
