Hey, it's time for new tires and I was wondering what kind of miles you guys get out of your rubber. I got the car used with Goodyear all season 195/70R14 440AB tires on it and put 12,000 miles on the remaining tread. About 500-750 miles of that was spent out of alignment after replacing the bearings, tie rod ends, and ball joints. There were about 1.8 degrees total front-end misalignment if I remember correctly and the rear has been misaligned about 2 degrees total the whole time because I didn't have the extra $10 to get a 4-wheel alignment.
After I replace the struts and control arm bushings with a 4-wheel alignment I should have like-new suspension. Looking forward to that.
Anyway how much life do you get out of your tires?
Tire wear depends on the tire, the wear rating, driving conditions, driving patterns, etc...
The standard tire has a rating of 100. This means that another tire with a rating of 200 will be twice as durable as the tire with a rating of 100.
No serious, reputable tire expert will give you an exact answer to how long a tire will last unless he knows everything about your driving habits, conditions, vehicle and it's mechanical condition, climate, terrain, etc. All these things can affect your tire's life. If someone claims otherwise, that should be a red flag for you.
Ive had my goodyear Versas on my car for 2 years and they still have a lot of meat left. They have a very high wear rating though

You might try TireRack.com for the information you seeking. Read the rating and reviews. That's where I've purchased my last 5 sets of tires. They have fast shipping and superb customer service.
I have Yokohama Paradas on my GMC, and I'm very pleased with how they perform. I replaced the Goodyears that were on it, because of age, not mileage. So I can't help ya with that. Good Luck.
