DIY: window roll down module (pics)

Hello, everybody!!!

It's summer time.

I was so tired of entering my preheated 99 camry so finally I decided to install a window roll down module.

I installed " Omega au 93-4" instead of dei 530t... because it is much cheaper...

The Omega module controls 4 windows for $27 wheras dei 530t module controls 2 windows for $45.
Before I installed this, I didn't realize one really important thing... if you see the youtube below, you will know that..

I think both module's installation must be similar so it's up to you which one you want to install.

. this is the package that I got

tool needed: 10mm wrench(or socket), screw driver, wire stripper (or blade), solder ( or quick connector or at least 3m scotch 33)
cable tie, window module( I chosed omega au93-4), a 12vdc relay, a 15ft wire of 14 AWG

time spent: 3hr

THIS is the items inside the box
This is the manual.
If you are going to use the module as window roll down, you (mostly) don't have to use the purple and yellow of the left connector.

Let's start.

First, pull the driver seat for space, pull the driver's window up and disconnect the negative cable of the battery

remove the door handle and window switch with the screwdriver

remove the screws and the trim

remove the 3 screw around speaker and remove the plastic cover some part.

Remove the dash board by pulling after removing a screw
remove the this fat board(kick panel? I don't know that name) by pulling one bolt by hand

remove 4 bolts

remove the two connectors.. ( This is optional but it will be easier to run the module wires.)

another view

Now run the 8 wires of the module except red and black thru the rubber grommet except red and black
2

Now cut the switch wires (LF=Red, RF=Red/Blue, LR=Red/Yellow, RR=Red/Black ) by using the 12volt info.
and connect to the module wires.(You would need some more wires. You should buy some wires)
For example. LR is red/ yellow. cut it off. and connect the switch side cable to the white/black of the module
and connect another red/yellow cable to green/black of the module.

Now you have to use a relay
the relay info is
85: (-) lock pulse
86:12v
87: no connection
87a: window module negative activation input
30: ground

connet the red wire of the module to #86 and connect them to +12v
connect the black wire of the module to #30 and connect them to any ground point
connect the orange wire of the module to #87a
connect the option buttion wire of your alarm to #85

reassembly in reverse order..

After installing, I reallized that each window opens one by one, NOT at the same time.
But, I will keep it...

this is the youtube link how mine works

That's awesome, when do the windows roll down? When you unlock the car? Seems like quite a hefty mod, would like to do it myself since it isn't that expensive but dang, seems like a lot of work (I hate going through the rubber grommet lol)

I used all the wires except purple and yellow. I didn't cut the green loop.
When I said "8 wires of the module," they are the wires from the "10 pin connector"
