Looks like something a ricer would do here. Why a hood scoop? Engine isn't even special. =| Muueh, everything about it seems muueh except for the kit.

igree the hood scoop is reducless with that edition , the company at that time sayd it got 223hp more 10hp than the stoke 1MZ-FE engines

I think the scoop looks fine..
I've got 01' Touring that i'm going to put the TRD S/C on and i'll be putting a hood scoop on it amongst other things...
Question?
Are you using it to cool your engine in the heat or is it for engine intake?
If the first did you direct the air flow at all? If the second did you feed onto the stock intake or make a custom filter box?

no , they put the hood scoop for show to compelet the body kit not to soport the air flow
