Gen 4 00 mirrors only move down

I just replaced my mirror control switch only to find the mirrors will only move down. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Here's a little history a couple of years ago I attempted to put m3 mirrors on my camry and tried to splice the wiring on the driver side only to result in blowing the circuit on the mirror control switch and just put the stock mirrors back on after that. I've had the new control switch lying around for a little while and just haven't put it in until today. When I tested it I found the mirrors on both sides will only move down. The circuit board on the control switch looks fine. I'm lost on this one.

also what should the wiring colors match like? I know on the mirror end it'd black, red, and white and on the harness side light brown/yellow stripe, teal/red strip, and dark brown/white stripe. any idea?

OK, just to clarify -- they only move down, or they move in the vertical plane (both up and down) but not in the horizontal plane?

correct only down the weirdest thing i've ever had happen on this car. I was just outside playin with the wiring. passenger side would only go down no matter what. however i could only get the driver side to go different directions by messing with the wiring pattern.
