3rd Generation Another Gen 3 Lip option..?

So this all started when I took a trip to the junkyard to find a taurus lip. That didn't go as planned because once i found the lip part on the Taurus, it was impossible to remove! I swear they were stuck and the one i almost had pried off was cracked... me being dumb, I only bought a hammer, flathead screw driver and a wrench. Borrowed some other peoples tools but the screws still didnt budge

At that point I couldnt go home empty handed after driving 30+ minutes, searching over an hour in 90 degree weather, and paying a $1 entry fee (hahaha I know not a lot)... i was determined to leave with something... then i found a piece of an accord hanging off by a shoe string, grabbed it, put it up to a camry in the junkyard and saw potential.

Although not a perfect fit on the sides (runs a few inches short) I like where I'm going with it. My next move is to try to find something to fill in the gap.. thinking about the home depot lip kit seal...but that stuff seems to soft...maybe i bought the wrong garage door seal.

Anyway check it out and let me know what you think.

Home depot lip...my last resort if I dont't find a way to fill the gap

Oh yea it came off the boxy style accord...91-92 im assuming

I'm also thinking about painting it to black to match the car once i figure out the gap situation... the challenges of being different :/

I like the overall look... Maybe try some fiberglass to extend it or find another lip and cut it for an extension.

I think using another lip sounds like a good idea, especially when you can sometimes find them on the side of the road. Not familiar with fiberglass but I'll also look into that. I know this mod has great potential and was fairly easy to install with just a drill ans some screws.

BTW I think someone should be bold and try a lip from the 94+ accord. It looks bigger and may be a better fit...Would have tried if I found one

Looks great from the front....
If that one doesn't work out, you can try the Kia or Volvo lip - Facelift - Depo's and New Front Lip (hacked, but fits nicely)

Funny thing is I tried to get that exact part off of a volvo out the junkyard...it was too complicated to get off with the tools i had so i left it and kept the accord lip. I think I'm gonna try to finish this one up first..if that doesnt work then i'll get something else.

Don't think it looks much different than the home depot lip to start with

I think it looks better than decent. Especially once you get that issue with the sides resolved which I'm sure you'll come up with something.

Nevertheless, I give you an "A" for effort.
