Clear sillicone?

Man am I running into small problems that annoy me lately lol.

My right signal lamp has some heavy moisture/condensation inside it. I'm sure it's just a broken seal.

Should I use use clear silllicone all around the edge or is there something better? Could someone recommend a brand?

And am I suppose to just leave the moisture to evaporate? I mean it looks pretty bad. At first I thought it was just on the outside but then when I felt it I was like oh no lol.

My tail light had a crack and water was inside after a rain . I took it out and dried it over night. After that I just put some silicone clear (GE) calk (from lowes) and is bone dry since then (4 years)

Thanks. The 'hose' leading to the bulb is dry as can be...?

There was literally like a puddle in my signal lamp.

Trying to dry it off...no signs of cracks or leak.

Just going to put some clear caulk all around and hope that helps after it dries.

This stuff works great. Used it to seal my lights.

I used clear silicone to seal my sigs and corners on the Coupe. No problems with moisture since, I guess its been a couple of years now.

Be sure to allow them to dry completely inside before sealing though.

Might be a little too late for that lol. I'm sure the sun will eventually dry it out as the silicone dries . If not, I'm going to try and find one of those gel packs they put in with shoes and throw it in overnight and hope that helps.

This clear sillicone shit was really messy...I got one that doesn't require the gun. I didn't want it clumping so I just tried smoothing it out into the cracks of the turn signal...hope this works.

well it dry kinda tells me that it is clogged somewhere. it is there to let the moister out from dew and could it be condensation forming inside because of a difference in temps. if it is sealed i would think that there would be no way for it to get out. there are rubber seaps around the lights after all and they do get old so getting in that way maybe?
