wild guess category ....
The ABS light, in the combination meter behind the main instrument panel is turned on by a wire that is colored red with a blue stripe ... R/B. It appears to have 12V on it at all times, and would light up the ABS warning light if it were to be grounded .... inadvertently or not. The route of the R/B stripe wire appears to go behind the center radio location ... heading to a connector that is below the passenger side dashboard, labeled IG3. This R/B wire may be contacting or grounding out something related to the radio ... insulation getting brittle, vibration, xxxk miles or whatever.
The big question is whether you can physically locate the R/B ABS wire and somehow isolate it .... Chances are you won't have too much space to work with.
You might try removing the radio from its frame, and trying to catch a glimpse of the R/B ABS wire. If you can find the ABS light wire, you could try getting a length of black plastic slit loom .... NAPA sells it .... and sliding as much of it on the R/B wire as you can get in both directions .... Kind of insulation insurance.
... all I've got for now.
