4th Generation p0335 and p0340 -_- and no idle

Hey toyotanation need help with my 2000 5sfe camry. I went to vatozone where I got codes ran because I had a check engine light. I got p0335 which is crankshaft position sensor and p0340 which is the camshaft position sensor, -_- Is there a fuse that I need to look for that controls both of those sensors? The car drives fine under load it just won't idle.
Today while driving after a while the ecu went into limp mode and it wouldn't go over 3000rpms after shutting off multiple times while at stoplights. I had to reset the codes by taking off the cable on the battery and it would improve for a little while before it started stalling again. I have ordered both sensors from rock-auto and I am waiting for them to arrive. Is there anything else I should be looking for?

Just a guess here, so take it as such, but id imagine they are connected to the same harness.... so maybe the insulation was rubbed, or melted off and they are shorting? Have you tried checking the wiring to each sensor?

Could quite possible be bad timing belt. To much stretch and the sensors are out of whack. It happens pretty often actually.

I just did the timing belt less than 20k ago and I don't hear any odd noises coming from the cover that would suggest a whole bunch of slack. Idk I'll update you guys once the sensors get here and I replace them.

In all honesty the 20k miles sorta backs the idea. Timing belts that stretch like that usually do it early on. Good luck though, you might wanna just crack open the top cover with the 2 10mm bolts to see whats up.

Those 2 sensors and very unlikely to fail, and basically do not fail and the same time. Harness issue is maybe it bt the no idle etc just point more to timing.

Did you test your sensors?

^ Nope I just bought new ones. I think im going to take a video so you guys can see what im dealing with. I just took the cover off and the timing belt just looks like it's worn in. The tension wasn't the tightest ever but it wasn't extra loose either. I also turned it on and revved it and didn't see any visible moving around that would suggest to much slack.
