3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Did gen 4 Camry's ever come with factory fog lights?
Did gen 4 Camry's ever come with factory fog lights? There are a lot of Gen 4 camry's here in colorado, but I've only seen one that looks like it could have OEM fog lights. In that car, there are two molded plastic holes on the lower front bumper, in the middle of the plastic bars that go across.
I need to replace my bumper cover soon, and I kind of am interested in getting one with OEM foglights.
It also looks like the bumper from a certain lexus model would fit the camry, but I can't remember what model it is, all I know is that the grille and the front look exactly like the camry.

they werent really stock...it was a dealer added option which dealer techs to install and install on any gen4/4.5. all it consisted of was 2 round foglights, wiring harnes, bezels and cut template...techs had to do the installs. the only stock foglights were on the JDM Camry Gracia. search here and youll see pics of the setup, it was not avalible in N.A. but there are several people...including me...who got them. looks awesome compared to the dealer installed ones.

I see! How much roughly is it to acquire the non-dealer one? Since I need a new bumper anyway, I might as well... It looks a lot better than the dealer option.

which one is the non-dealer one and which one is the dealer one ?
the USDM optional foglamp can be purchased on ebay. theres someone who sells the kit. it comes with the lamp, and harness. not too sure if it comes with the mounts and bezel. if not, then theres another website where you can get them from
Yes you can still get most of the parts for the fog light kit, however unless you have a J vin car its going to be difficult to get everything needed since sometime last year the 4T vin brackets were discontinued, I was debating at one time to buy the J vin ones to see if they work but haven't done it. Heres a list
1. Fog Light Kit (inclued 2x Lights, 2x C-Clamps, Wiring Harness, Instructions, Hardware Bag (hardware bag has everything you need) Offer him 125$ he'll take it
P/n PT413-33010 (They come as a set of 2) I haven't checked to make sure these are still available, however the main toyota sites still show these as available so its a 50/50 shot ie. toyotapartszone.com,toyotapartseast.com but I would recommend getting them from Gary Smith, hes a Parts Manager at Newnan Toyota in Georgia and gives 30% off to TN members just tell him your from here 678-854-9601, just ask for Gary.
3. Brackets
TMC Bracket J-VIN PT297-33001 (The ones that there are only a few of)
Heres the TMMK 4T VIN PT297-33002 (discontinued) unless you can find somebody who has them.
4. Fog Light Switch
P/N 00550-35976
You can get these from any dealer
( Note: When you read off the p/n to the parts guy if he tells you theres too many digits, tell him its in the accessories catalog)
Just for reference, I ordered bezels just last week and I got a pair. I don't know how much longer they'll be around but atleast we know they might still have them.
