Quick question.

Why is it that i see more Mr2s turbocharged and supercharged more than camrys, i mean dont they both have the 1mz.?

the 1MZ-FE is a naturally aspirated 3.0L V6 found in the Camry (and other Lexus models) from 97-01 and the MR-2 from 87-89 uses a 4A-GZE supercharged I4. the the MR-2 also used a turbocharged I4, the 3S-GTE in the second generation. the MR-2 never had a 1MZ-FE engine.

Mostly because the people that are swapping the 1MZ into the MR2's are looking for some real power. It's a mid engine, rear wheel drive car, that with some power can bear many new cars. The Camry, while fun, has it's engine in the front, front wheel drive, and most people won't put that much money into them. It makes sense for the MR2 guys but only the, fun, crazy people put it in a camry.
