need help with sound system

hey, i recently installed a new head unit and speakers to upgrade my cars system. only problem is if i go above a certain volume there is a horrid "exploding sound". i have asked around before and they all said it was the factory amp. no problem. i would like to bypass it with ease and i have no idea how to go about this.

i have a 1992 camry and the amp is under the passenger seat. is anyone able to help explain how to help me with this.

that is distortion, are they the factory speakers? because they cant handle much more power than the stock deck puts out

Doubt the tweeters could produce an exploding sound. If you could explain a bit more about your setup it might help, most of the time any exploding sound will be too much power coming from the amps and the speakers can't handle it. Or distortion can occur from trying to overpower amps, but that's less likely. What is the rating of the amp vs the speakers?

you don't need to bypass the amp by running new seaker wires to each speaker from the deck. just don't connect the amp plug to anything. you will have access to the amp plug behind the stereo. just leave it unplugged and you'll be fine.
