4th Generation 97 Camry Cigarette Lighter Plug(s) Problem

So I was driving home tonight from work and noticed that the neon lights installed in my car flashed and then went out. They are plugged into my cigarette lighter plugs.

I was worried the fuse was blown on the neon's plug itself but it wasn't. It turned out to be the the fuse in the car. So I replaced it and one of the cigarette lighter plugs started working again. However, the second one does not work still. I was wondering if there was another fuse that went to that one? Is it possible I put too much current through the wires and they burned out?

Anyhow, this is the fuse that I replaced. I have the fuse I replaced shown with the arrow on the diagram from the coin holder. Like I said, one of the cigarette lighter plugs started working again.

The one circled with the arrow is the one that no longer works:

This is probably an extremely rare problem. If you guys know anything about it, I would love the input, I appreciate your time to look at this.

i believe the outlet you're pointing to uses the fuse called power-outlet (two left, one up) check to see if that fuse is ok.

I have the same issue, kind of. My clock next to the cluster went out, then the cigarette lighter, now the AC control panel doesnt light up. I don't think that would be the fuse though, as this all *did not* happen all at one time, guess I could go buy a fuse and try... or use the on-board diagnostic fuse for temporary to check the panel and take the fuse from the power outlet and try it in the cig.

Thanks for the input so far.

@nfsuw
I tried the power outlet fuse, but it ended up just shutting off my radio. I may have to pick and choose some more fuses to see if it may be a fuse or not.

@TrueBooleanFalse
Actually, it could be the fuses because in the diagram there are separate fuses for the clock and cigarette lighter, and another for the the control panel. It's possible, but it also could be something else.

No disrespect private, but I would have thought turning wrenches that long would have told you OBD/OBD II. The 7.5 amp fuse right next to the panel fuse.

Wdanlee where is this fuse for the clock and control panel for the ac. I see one that says panel hut I put a new fuse in and it didn't work

My apologies. I must have taken temporary leave of my senses. I was thinking something completely different than you wrote. I guess I should wait until i am fully awake before reading/replying.

No problem private. Still wondering where the fuse for the clockis, if it is a labelled fuse, I don't see it. I have read that it may be part of the heater fuse but my heater works and the light for when the air is on. Same for the defroster.

Edit: darn auto correct on phone. Had to come back and fix errors.
