Hey,

Does anyone know the size of our clutch hard lines ? I want to bed some of my own but I dont know what size to get.

Also, do any of you guys know the thread size of our fuel rails ?

Its a 1mz-fe 99 camry

Are you trying to make your own?
I know there are a few out there for the e153 for a MR2.
These aren't simple to source parts from because it will require special fittings with angled seats to create a seal.
ARP has a huge inventory of fittings, but even then I doubt they'll even carry what you need.

yeah i'm trying to bend my own. im just not sure the diameter of the hard line.

they're not special fittings. they're regular 45 degree fittings with a double flared pipe end.

I'm sure if you take a piece of the old line to the parts store they can figure it out. It isn't rocket science, although sometimes doing a double flare can be a PITA.

I have an SS clutch line as well in place of the oem rubber one?

or are you saying that you just ran a long SS clutch line in place of the entire hard line??

Well my MR2 has just a SS line.
My Camry has a SS line that is attached to the hardline. I can't remember since it's been so long, but I think I used the MR2 one on my Camry as well.

seems like every question i ask you respond with your diy thread lol =p

so i got some 3/16. tube cutter. flaring tool. inverted flare fittings.

i bent my own line to bypass the clutch accumulator. works awesome. not leaking yet =]

and lol yah...I ran into a lot of issues back in the day that people have now as they also explore what they can do themselves, so the easiest way is to go back to the original thread, cuz even I don't remember everything that I did back the anymore!
