Driver door interior weathershield

Hi Everyone!
New to the forum. Own a 1995 Camry XLE, 195,000 miles and runs like a dream. Just have a few things here and there to fix, door handles, door and trunk locks, etc.
I am having to replace the driver door window regulator for the second time and the watershield plastic was ripped the last time we did this. Question is where can I get a watershield replacement? I've looked online and have not found one yet.

Thanks!

I had to replace the plastic in the doors of the Coupe in My sig.

I too couldn't find it to buy anywhere, and then, It occurred to me while taking a shower one day, the Plastic shower curtain liner was the correct thickness.

So I went to Target, and bought the thickest shower liner I could find. IIRC, I paid like 10 bucks or so for one, and it was large enough for both doors.

I spread it out on the floor and used the door panel as a template. It worked great. I cut it larger than it needed to be, and trimmed the excess with a razor knife after putting the panel back on.

Here's a tip, do not cut a hole for the door speaker, It fits without it. Good Luck!

Thanks eyeball96! That's a great idea! I'll let you know how it turns out. One more question, if the adhesive is dried out, what did you use to attach the plastic?

The black stuff they use to seal the plastic to the door with I believe is called Butyl Rubber. You can buy it at Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc. I took am missing a water shield on one of my 99 Camrys. The shower curtain advice sounds like a good fix. Toyota wants something like $27 or so for the factory one at the Toyota Discount online sites.
