4th Generation lOwErInG muh TC

Okay so I just purchased some Meagan Racing Lowering springs (they are supposed to drop my TC 2in in the front and rear). But my 4th Gen TC has 112k miles on it and it has the original sturts . They are just starting to go out but not that bad. Should I just put the new springs on with the old struts or should I break down and spend $400 on some new Tokico Blues . I dont want to spend freaking $400 but I think I will end up doing it cuz it seems like the right thing . Please share your thoughts of wisdom

Umm this is the wrong sections, but I wouldn't recommend putting new springs on old struts. Its a NO NO that i did and now I'm paying for my mistake. Also remember to change your strut mounts, boots ( if needed ) and spring insulators.

you basically replace everything else except the springs, so that would include all rubber pieces like coil insulators, strut bumpers and mounts.

consider getting the Tokico HP (BLUE) struts with lifetime warranty, they were designed for lowering springs
