4th Generation Experiencing shaking/vibrating steering wheel when braking at high speeds?

so I've noticed when I brake suddenly or at high speeds the steering wheel will shimmy/shake/vibrate.

is this not caused by poor alignment? that was my first guess, but Google results seem to suggest warped rotors.

what are you guys' thoughts?

p.s.: 2000 Camry LE, 15" wheels, if it means anything lol

As you suggested, warped rotors is the prime suspect. How is low speed and light braking?

if its your alignment or tires, you wouldn't only feel it while braking. you need to replace your rotors.

B4 U replace your rotors though-

You should have your calipers and slide Pins checked to make sure they are not siezed. If they aren't moving, you will be replacing rotors again very soon.
