swap: axle problem

Hey i just recently finished my 5speed swap for a 1997 camry xle v6...The donor car happens to be a 1997 camry le but i have problems with the axle. It seems like all the people i order from always give me the same axle and its for the auto trans. Is there any other alternative or car i can pull the axles from? I need both the driver and passenger axle.

I think so.
I think the way ratco did on his right-up was unnecessary because you're adapting axles. Doesn't make sense when you already have the useable axle on hand.
I haven't seen that write-up for a long time so there may be a good reason for it.

yes, the half-shaft has to be changed, same with the driver's side axle- the input splines or of a different length for both of them on the e153.

the e53 axles are different from the e153 axles

and I actually don't believe that you can use the mr2 axles unless you're only talking about the stubs....but then you can't attach the camry outer axles to those either

the outer passenger side axle can still be used from the automatic

Seems the server is doing double posts again. The spline from the MR2 is completely different from the the camry. The only other option you have is to get a axle from a Solara generation 1. Becareful! The size is very very similar. They are only a few MM apart. And that is like 5 to 8 max. And trust me, I just did my second E153 swap. NEVER AGAIN!

Yeah, I'm not sure if its different on the Gen 4, but I have 1999 Solara V6 axles on my Camry, which are of course, the same as the MR2 axles.
I never really understood all this talk about swapping axle stubs...
