Question 99 Camry - I4 - P0466 Failure Code

My 99 Camry with the I4 engine is reporting the P0466 - Evaporative Systems Failure code. Is this a common failure on these cars with an easy fix? If so, where do I start?

If it's not so easy to fix, does anyone have the procedures for diagnosing which part is failing?

Thanks for the help.

P0446 code

I think the diagnostic section of the FSM suggests that this code is the result of these major faults:
leaky vacuum hoses in the vicinity of the charcoal canister
faulty VSV for EVAP
faulty VSV for Vapor Pressure ....
loose gas tank cap, or crack in filler neck, or faulty check valve near filler neck

... There was a recent post relating to a VSV for Vapor Pressure ...
I think this VSV is located somewhere near the gas tank.

If you can obtain the FSM Diagnostic Section, there is some instructive material. ... Maybe also take a look at the wiring diagram section.

I think I would make it a practice to always take a look at the vacuum hoses anywhere on the car, particularly the 'ends', where they attach, and check to see if they slide or seem loose.
