1997 Camry 2.2L

I had to replace the water pump and the timing belt and the Crankshaft Possitioning Sensor and my 1997 Camry 2.2L still runs ruff, no exceleration and smells very rich. It sounds like the exaust is being restricted too. I checked the flow at the tail pipe and seems to be normal. Dows anyone have any ideals as to what can be still wrong?

did you check the timing with a timing light after the belt install? did you replace the timing belt tensioner when you did the timing job?

Need more info then that. Was these problems you were having before doing the timing belt, water pump, and cps? What other maintenance has been done and when?

What happened was I was my Water pump failed and when it falied so did the timming belt and the car just died!!! So I replaced the timmingbelt and the water pump. I inspected the Crankshaft possitioning sensor and seen that it was damaged I replaced it too. Now when I scan the car.... I get P340 circuit malfuction. I traced the plug wires back to the main wireing harness and could not find any cuts\damage. What next?
