Most people just drill screws straight into the metal body under the door sills. When the door is closed, you can't see the screws. There should also be clips on your skirts on the ends to clip onto the front fender and rear fender.

my lip has holes that match up to the holes on the bottom of the side of the car body. however the holes on the car body is plugged up with rubber plugs.

so i need to take out the rubber plugs and replace them with a plastic peice so when i put the lip on, i can just thread screws into the plastic to hold the lip in place.

i dunno if that make sense... lol

dealers sell black plastic "clips" which have a hole in middle for a matching black screw, they are used around fender liners (outer edge by mudguards mostly) and to install mudguards (except for the bottom one which I think was a different white plastic insert and a screw)

something like this for my Solara, could be same for yours?
"clip" 76635‑33010 (square hole if I remember right) or 90189‑06065 (round hole I think, but the 90189‑06065 also fits where 76635‑33010 does)
screw (for either of them) 90164‑60024

I would give those a try.

the clip wont work cause there would be no way to get the clip onto the body. but the other one would work because i could stick it into the hole on the body then screw the lip onto it.

i'll go see if that plastic paart is the right size.

thanks

i dont want to drill any screws into the body.

the lip is OEM and the holes on the lip matches the holes on the body. so i'd rather do it how it was supposed to be.

yeah, I'd rather use as well an OEM clip+screw setup to secure, since the skirts are OEM as well. if you know the part number of that skirt/lip, I can try looking it up to find matching screws. originally I bet they were coming in a sort of kit with all install accessories included.

BTW, are you lowered or stock height on your camry?

yeah, problem is that dealers usually don't have those in stock, so you may need to order some to test them. hopefully they have some on hand.

or another idea, ask the dealer what do they use to mount OEM side skirts/lips (whatever it's called, they will probably call it a "spoiler" or something LOL) to factory holes .

I screwed mine into the body as there were no holes where the holes are on the side skirts. I guess it's because mine's a USDM version. =[ Of all the luck, I have one made from Kentucky.

or better idea, unbolt and peel off the fender liner and/or one front mudguard and at spots where black flat round philips screws were in, you should have those black round clips/plugs/inserts behind (again whatever they are called). try pulling one out to test it with the skirt hole.

not sure if they are re-usable though...
