92 camry starting issues

My mother was driving her '92 Camry when the engine died. The engine would turnover, but not fire up.

We had replaced the timing belt in the last year, so we checked it first to make sure it hadn't slipped. All lined up. All fuses and relays for fuel were checked and determined to be operating correctly. We decided to check the fuel pump anyway, and when the engine was cranking, the pump was operating. We checked the fuel pressure, and it is fine. We checked spark - none. Should have checked it first, I know, but I went for the issues I've had more common instances causing the problems. Plugs and wires were all fine. Decided to check the ignitor as I had access to a new one to try, with the inability to check the old one. Still would not start, so I replaced the initial ignitor and finally removed the distributor and checked it. Bad coil. Replaced distributor and it fired right up. Let it run for 15 minutes and it worked great. Decided to continue to let it run, went inside for 15 minutes and when I came out, it was dead. Now it will not start. Going to remove the new distributor and check the coil tomorrow. Any suggestions?

Did your mother put gas in it? Check battery charge.
