95 Camry LE 1MZ-FE Blackstone Oil Analysis

Hello

I just wanted to post my car's oil analysis up for anyone else that might be looking to compare their own. I've been running Valvoline MaxLife Syn Blend / Bosch Filtech oil filters for the life of the car. Last oil change was the Max Life "Next Gen" syn blend - the green bottle with 50% recycled oil. That was the oil change that was tested here.

Thanks.

That's a good amount of Moly. I read that the NextGen version was better than the regular Maxlife with the new SN rating. I feel a little more confident running this oil now. Had stocked some 5W-30 Maxlife Nextgen with two Bosch 3325 filters. (Longer verison of the 3311)

the report looks good!

yeah, valvoline uses sodium as additive, so it throws off the UOA. I had similar results (114 sampled vs 24 avg) when I mixed only like 1.3qts of Valvoline Synthetic with some Mobil1 FS and Lucas Stabilizer on wife's 5s-fe

Royal Purple (used 5w-30 in past) on the other hand uses tons of Magnesium as oil additive (my V6 in past sampled 978 vs 150 avg)

In a month I will be doing UOA on my V6 after running M1 10w-30 FS HM, will post it too

It's good you share it, it helps to compare results especially for folks who run exactly same oil type.

molybdenum seems a tad high in your UOA, but as I read the Blackstone labs description page correctly, it may be also an oil additive used by manufacturer.

nothing to worry about!

Thanks all

I was very happy to see the engine is doing so well for the mileage it's at. I thought some of the elements were high too, but it looks like all the ones that were higher than usual are used as additives in max life.

Anyway, I hope it helps someone out there using the same oil.
