Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Saw this the other day, just thought you gen 3 coupe guys would appreciate it. I couldn't tell what trim it was since as you can see in the pics all but the middle toyota emblem were gone, idk if it helps but i could tell it was a v6 **edit: ok it was a 1mzfe i just put i couldn't tell if it was a 3vzfe but I guess they didn't use the 3vzfe's in the coupes)**
I just looked at toyotareference and according to that rally red was only for the coupes and looks really close to that so i wonder if thats what it is
Maybe someone can explain the appeal of these old coupes.
I have a 2k accord coupe and even tho it's a bit sportier, it's a pia to have to bring the front seat forward all the time, which 1/2 the time never seems to be far enough forward to easily put boxes or whatever back there.
I have to assume mileage is a bit better with coupes because they must be lighter (the accord's coupe mileage is iirc) and they are probably a little bit quicker, but I don't find these any sportier than the 4-doors and I definitely have not enjoyed the inconveniences of a 2-door 4/5-seater.

I always like the low weight for the DX 5spd coupe and the interior room compared to the sedan. night and day difference in space available to the occupants in the sedan.

O.O nvm wrong picture, i actually posted a pic of a gen2? at the above intersection in the celica section ^ i actually forget where i was going i think to wendys or taco bell to get something to eat (at overcash and 580)

Rally Red
Medium Red Pearl
Sunfire Red Pearl
This nice little Gen 3.5 in my neibourhood is loaded with a leather interior in perfect condition. The paint job is heavily oxidized and in need of a serious power buffing job, but as you can see, it has four doors!

Funny you should mention that.... I does look nice, and I know that Red would light-up with a polish. I've been losing some sleep for quite awhile thinking about just that. The mark on the front fender is a bird dropping, the body is also just about 100% clean, maybe 99%, even of door dings, 0% rust. I might just post a note of some interest under a windshield wiper.

Just one more look at the maybe "Rally Red", XLE Sedan I've been drooling over for a bit. What do you guys think this is worth? I haven't been able to check on milage, but the tail pipes are as clean as a whistle, and the roadway it parks on (for many months now) is oil free.
