I figured I'd post some stuff about my car since I'm bored and can't fall asleep.


Before the car i had a 99 Ford Ranger (hence my username) that i had tons of time and work into, interior and exterior wise but I hit a patch of ice and wrapped it around a telephone pole this past January.

How I bought the truck:


After lift, 2nd set of 33x12.5 mud terrains, 2003 front end swap, and countless of interior and exterior modifications i did to it, including the "headlight mod" which blacks out the non-round parts of the light.

I'll probably be buying another next summer but I'll be keeping the Camry, we also have an 09LE and soon to have either a Rav4 or Highlander.



My dad handed me down his 2001 Camry LE 2.2L. Right now it has 212xxx miles and it has no signs of its high mileage, we've had it since it was new and its been really well taken care of. I just got the timing belt and other serpentine belts done on it today also.


Stuff I've done to this day

White LED's, some of the stock bulbs burned out so I threw in LEDs (also done on HVAC panel just don't have a picture)



20% tint all around. this is right before i did the last window


Buffed and polished my headlights and corners with a 3M restoration kit, came out awesome. Passenger side done, drivers side waiting.


35W 6000K HID kit (i know my light is a bit dirty, its before i washed it)


Washed and waxed with Meguiars tech 2.0 (stuff is great!)



I'll keep adding to this thread as I add stuff to the car.

Yeah i miss it but i'll be getting another one to replace next summer, i hope. I do love the MPG i'm getting with the car though haha

I only got a concussion and a few tiny cuts. If i had my seatbelt on i would of broken some ribs or possibly died according to the officer at the scene. Truck was still drivable too but it definitely needed a new cab.



this was a picture from the inside. my poor explorer power leather buckets haha. I did manage to remove the Aeroforce Technonogies scangauge off of the pillar though.

Glad that you're okay. I’m not much of a Ford Ranger guy but that was a clean looking truck. Most Rangers around here look like parts delivery trucks. Nice job on the headlights and wax, it doesn't even look like it has over 200k miles. But take care of those alloy wheels because they are hard to find. Mine are just like those and it took me 2 years to find a good used OEM replacement.

Yeah nobody believes it has 212k on it. the wheels are in great shape, we've taken good care of the car since we bought it new 11 years ago and i plan to keep on taking good care of it.

installed a new headunit yesterday, Pioneer AppRadio. There are some terrible reviews on it out there but I haven't encountered any of the problems people have had, knock on wood. I love it so far. I've used the GPS, made a call using the handsfree system that is included and i've used pandora. I love the headunit so far. It was a really easy install too, took about 1hour 15 minutes including time to make the wiring harnesses.
