I have a 1993 Camry with 2.2 5S-FE engine that has me stumped. The problem is a misfire at idle and under load, also lack of power. When problem started I changed plugs, wires ( had one bad wire) and distributer cap with rotor, they were due for a change anyway. Engine ran fine for one day then symptoms began again. No trouble codes. Since then this is what I've done. New coil (old one had crack) Swaped igniter and MAP sensor with ones pulled from salvage yard. New Fuel filter Removed and cleaned Throttle body and Idle control valve Checked timing New PCV valve Checked EGR valve operation Think I need some fresh ideas to point me in the right direction please!
