Bower Fan High Speed Only 2001 Camry
My blower fan was only working on the high speed setting. After looking through a few threads, I first removed for inspection, then went and purchased and installed a new "blower motor resistor". The fan now works on all speed settings.
Easy enough to remove and install. You first need to get access to it by removing a plastic cover underneath the glovebox area. Look just to the left of the squirrel cage blower motor and slightly down. It is held in place by 2 philip head screws - I had to use a short screwdriver because of the odd angle, but it is very easy to replace. ~$25.00.
