Click sound when turning steer wheel? Nut loose

Hi,

1. My 98 Camry LE 4Cyl has a small click sound when I turn my steering wheel.
I understand that there is a recall regarding the steering wheel nut, but I already got my recall serviced 3 years ago at a dealer.
Is it loose again after 3 years?

2. My gas pedal is a bit stubborn, it takes considerable leg pressure press it down when there is no throttle, but once the engine is already throttled once, it's easy to press the gas pedal. What's wrong? Does it just need some lubricant at certain hard-to-reach locations?

Thanks a lot.

For your stubborn gas pedal issue, I think your throttle plate is sticking. I had the same problem. You think its the gas pedal itself but it's not. Just spray throttle body cleaner all over the throttle plate and the pins that it rotates on. Spray alot. You can't hurt anything. Then soak up the mess with some paper towels. You'll notice the difference right away. Give it a try. It's easy.

+1 On the gas pedal. I was having the same problem though it didn't concern me, but i cleaned my throttle body and throttle plate when I had the IACV out (for an unrelated problem) and ever since the gas pedal has not stuck (it would stick in the up position)

the clicking when turning may indicate a faulty cv shaft. check the boots for tears and check all four joints for free play.

Hi, the clicking seems to be coming from inside the driving compartment near the steering wheel rather than underneath the car.

Just to be clear, the clicking occurs as you're turning the steering wheel? ... or during a sharp turn (car is rolling), with the steering wheel stationary?

Hi, the click sound occurs when the car is in high speed, strangely.
But the click does not occur when the car is stopped or at low speed.
