92 camry muffler question

i have a 92 camry 2.2. the coupler that the muffler attatches to the exhaust pipe is completely rusted out. I was wondering if a 92 camry v6 would have the same muffler and exhaust pipe. i found one at a junkyard and didnt know if it was an exact match since mine is a 4 cylinder and the junker is a v6. thanks!

You can look up part numbers at one of the online toyota parts departments of a dealer. That'll tell you what came from the factory.

You can also look up the aftermarket parts available for each from a source like Walker muffler.

You'll prob. need to know whether the respective vehicles have Cal emissions installed.
