Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
It's a 96. And they are called side marker lights. Go to rockauto for the exact same ones,...remember,...look under 96 Camry,.....I recently replaced mine and they were only around $10 a piece plus around $8 shipping. I looked ALL OVER for the best prices on these and they were hands down the cheapest,....and the fit and finish were just perfect,....came with the sockets & bulbs too!!!!! I think they were TCY or TCB brand. You couldn't find nicer ones for cheaper at a junk yard.
Good luck!!

Just curious... where in exactly did you see this? It wasn't in/near Pasadena, was it?
I have a relative that lives there...with the same car, but I don't remember her license plate.

Side marker lights/corner lights/parking lights whatever you want to call them will interchange on all 92-96 Camrys. You can easily find an OEM set at a local wrecking yard for a few dollars.

Very true you can find these at the boneyard,...but most Camrys at the yard have alot of miles on them and the lenses are worn/cloudy. They are gonna charge you 8-10 bucks a piece (at least on the east coast) ,.....so why not spend a few bucks extra for brand new pristine lenses for your baby?? It's all up to you.
I know it cost me about 20 from rockauto with shipping.

No, Van Nuys .. Sepulveda blvd and Sherman Way st @ Jon's Marketplace.
p.s. you have no idea who many of these 93-96 Camry are running around L.A. and the majority are beige or Champagne as they called it in 93
...and thanks guys for the help.
Mine was parked right next to it.. I think if they saw me they would think I was casing the car... but mine looked so much better... just want those side lights.
...but mine just got some love from my body shop after a bus wiped out the passenger side... Thanks LA MTA for the new paint job and all the pristine body work.
p.s. Can I put 15" rims on this car next tire change. this 93 is only a 14" rim.. thanks again..

I've had problems with TYC parts. They never seem to fit properly, but that could be said with any after market part. However, I'd go with the DEPO brand over a TYC piece any day. Anyway, that's why I suggest going to a wrecking yard. These lights don't oxidize nearly as bad as the headlights do, and since they're original Toyota parts, they WILL fit perfectly. A plus is that at a wrecking yard, you might be able to get both lights for what you'd pay for one aftermarket light.
It's all up to you though. I see that you're in the SoCal area. I know of a couple of great yards, that you check out for yourself.

My body guy likes Depo as a rule.
Found some on Amazon for less than 8$+shipping.
I am in the San Fernando Valley.. all the junk yards are in the No. Valley area... Sylmar, Pacoima, Sun Valley, etc. I call that The Kevlar District of the valley.
...but I have a vest, but better than that.. I have a mechanic that frequents those yards and he probably can pick me up a pair.
Hopefully you will be lucky and find a pair at the junkyard,...but remember,..your car is 18 almost 19 yrs old,.....tough to find a set in excellent shape. And by the looks of your car,...she deserves a new pair. Besides,....whats $20 gonna do? Put you in the poorhouse??
Treat your baby right!!
My set looked about perfect (not cloudy, no damage at all),....or so I thought. I replaced the headlight lenses and it made them look like crap (kind of dull in the silver). So I replaced those as well. The difference was very noticable,...much brighter silver reflection on the inside of the lens. I had no problems with TYC but this was just my experience.

This is a good car... It just turned 110K mi. Mom had it before ... got it 10 years ago w/ 40,000mi on it. I even had it when I lived in a mountain area...(note to Camry owners... they are not made to go in and out of a National Forrest (20mi. each way) on a daily basis.) I did replace the rear axel. Only repair that really wasn't a maintenance deal.
...and after I got hit by the bus.. the insurance people just said.. WTF=total. Gave me a very very fair settlement and I just bought it back and fixed it. It was all cosmetic crap. I needed a paint job anyway.
Yes some people will do anything for a paint job.
It's now fully insured with the same company...so it says 'Salvage' on my title..BFD.
Here is a part of the damage.. .the poor mirror...the first thing the adjuster said was, "oh there is structural damage"...THERE WAS NOT A BIT OF STRUCTURAL DAMAGE. I had a front end alignment before any work was done.. The body guy suggested we do that to make sure.
Not hard really,....just unscrew the phillips head that connects to the top of your headlight lens assembly. Squeeze your fingers in between the headlight lens and the side marker lens,.then you have to pull pretty hard in an outward motion to pop the rear pin out of the retainer bracket behind the lens itself.
If you still have your users manual,...the pictures are in there. When you first do it,...it will seem like your going to break something by pulling so hard,...but you won't. Just remember that pulling the lens forwards (towards you) will not free the lens,..you have to pull away to the side for the pin to pop out.

Ah, heck.. I'll just let the body shop do it for me, they won't mind.
