P0446 Evap Code Help Please - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

I have a 2001 Toyota Camry XLE (6 cylinder). For the last 3 years or so I've been getting code P0446 about every 6 months. I took it to the dealer a while back and they did a smoke test and determined the canister was ok. After about 4 times of the engine light coming on they determined the rear vacuum switching valve needed to be replaced and they replaced it. Since then the light has come on about 3 times now with the same P0446 code.

Are there any ideas as to what could be the problem?

Check the wiring to the Vent Solenoid and the solenoid itself.
