Question tire out of shape(deformed) problem 98 camry 225/40/18....

I drive 98 Toyota Camry.I have big question want to ask you guys and hope you know why.

Since first time I installed my new 225/40/18 Nankang NS2 at last Oct., I forgot to rotate my wheel every 5000 miles. And today May 24th I went to rotate my front and rear wheel, I find that my both rear tires are totally out of shape (deformed). There are not real round any more. When I drive after the rotate, my steering wheel is shaking when my speed is up to 50 -70 miles, I know that is my front tire problem, and I took my car back to ask the technician who did the rotate for me. I asked them to give my front tire balance again, and they told me my both tires are out of shape(deformed) and it is not the balance problem. They suggest me to drive about 1000 miles to see if the front tire change back to the real round. If the front tires are still out of shape(deformed) after 1000 miles, then I have to change the front tires or I have to put the tires back to the rear side.

So right now I have couple questions would like to ask you.

1. Does the balance cause my out of shape(deformed) tires? If that is the balance problem to let my tires out of shape, Do I need to ask them to rebalance my tires again?

2. If that is not the balance problem to cause my tires out of shape(deformed), then that means that is my rear side problem. So right now I put my tires back to the rear side, and after couple months, my rear tires will become out of shape(deformed) again, Is that right? So what should I do now? keep drive to wait and see my front tires, or change my deformed tires back to the rear side?

Hope you can answer me those questions..
thank you for help .

run the tires and not be too agressive with them you need to bring them up to operating temp wich is about 50miles in total then you rotate them again, but if your old wheels deformed also than i would do an inspection of your suspension. i had nankangs for a while i didn't like them much. they kept on going flat so i switched to falkens. your problem could be the tires themselves check the markings on all 4 tires my problem why they were going flat was cause the people who instaled them put on two different types the passanger side was 44max psi the driver side was 30max psi and the load was different also all that contributed to problems so check that. good luck

just write down what each tire says : #'s , words, pressure, max load capacity,etc.etc.etc...

my tire had different pressure and load capacities yours could have the same problem so just check them agains each other

my experience has been that tires lose shape because of bad air pressure levels..it happened to a pair of mine before i had to change them and i had the same shaky problem.. check tire pressures to match tires

Double check your alignment...? If your suspension is okay and the tire is contacting the road firmly, tire wear should be even. If theres an incorrect alignment angle such as toe there would be tire wear on the inside or outside edge of the tire, if there is a camber problem, there also would a tire wear outside or inside edge but more rapid. Caster is not much of a issue in the rear on front wheel drive vehicles. Double check the alignment, vehicles that are lowered such always have a alignment check and always use camber and caster kits or else those expensive tires are going to wear. I see it all the time in the shop I work at.

i'm having the same problem on my gen2. my rear left is deformed.. they told me my shocks are going bad. cause they re-mounted the tire and re-balanced it and it still happens.. i doubt that your shocks are going bad that soon on a 98 camry
