I found this today. 142k. The guy wants to trade me for my 97 F150. It needs rings, i have a used (100k mile) engine for it. but its just kinda pathetic. I dont even want to mess with it. Have sank so much money into it, and its still a POS. It's been set on fire (the interior... an x girlfriend.) Ive hit 2 deer, and a sofa on the freeway. Ran off the road twice on ice. It needs, needs needs. Im inclined to believe I might have better luck with the camry. Could it possibly be worse than this Ford, and my previous Ford (2003 Taurus)??
This is what he said happened to the engine: "#4 cyl dropped a piston, came apart and rod went thru the side of the wall. the skirt went into the freeze plug and cracked the outside so the block was shot. The heads like new the crank has a little scoffing but can be turned."
What do u guys think? I'd rather put money into a Toyo than this truck. And the camry is the same color as my current camry. i could have twins! lol
