If you don't find a prob with the wiring or connector, it's possibly bad solder joints and can be repaired. Here's a DIY thread showing how to do it. My Camry's clock had the same problem, but the clock is completely different. Couldn't find any bad solder joints so I just scored a used one on eBay for about $20. A new one from the dealer was over $100, IIRC
