I just changed the right cv joint two days ago and yesdays found the transmission fluid was leaking where the cv joint goes.

the culprint was the seal..
look at the pic

what is the name of the seal?
Is it the differential seal?

how should I remove it?

it looks like cv axle seal,
definetely need to redo the cv joint exercise again, because cv axle has to come out first
differential shaft seal under $10 if bought online, almost $20 if walk in to stealership
i just use a flathead prybar to pry out
