1998 Camry 5s-fe tube identification assistance

Hi all,


I took some pictures from the last time I was doing some work on my car and found some tubes that were cracking. I know the first tube is to the PCV Valve to the intake and the other I'm not exactly sure but heading towards the air filter.

I need some help identifying which part it is and if it's something I can go to AutoZone/local store to find a replacement size or the dealership parts the best way to go.

Also, would driving with these around have any issues with the car?

Just go to your favorite part store with the old vacuum lines. They cost 1$ a foot.

Eventually the lines will start letting in air and cause a vac leak.

Since there will be oil fumes get fuel line not vacuum line. It will hold up to petroleum fumes longer.

Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose connecting the PCV valve and intake chamber.
it's like $5 at dealer, comes preformed, just move the clips, unplug it and swap it (you can re-use the clips).

What about the one on the right side? What is that one called?

For future reference for anyone who needs those hoses, the part numbers are as follows from the dealer:

Part#1226274100 | Hose, Ventilation - $10.38
Part#1226074070 | Hose Assy, Vent - $15.03

that is also the PCV hose, but this one allows "breathing" of valve cover through the intake hose.
