1992 Camry Start Up Problems
Having a problem when I first start up. After I let it warm up for a few minutes I take off. As I'm coming to my first stop the car starts to shake and I notice that the RPM's are dropping down to almost "0". I then place the car in neutral and give it some gas and the symptom then goes away. This is a intermittent problem. Most of the time it only happens once a day. When it does happen it really smells like gas. So far I have changed the gas filter and the temperature sensor. I don't think it's the idle control sensor because it does not happen all the time. I also cleaned the throttle body and the IAC valve. Now it also started to happen when i start slowing down from doing speeds of 50 to 65 & 70. As I'm slowing down to around 40 to 20 the car starts to shake and when I look at the RPM's it's falling down to 0. I then put the car in neutral while it is still moving, i rev it up until the RPM's reach 4 to 5 and then it goes away.
Please, what can it be? I need help
Thanks,
Mark
