01 camry 5sfe engine ground locations (PICTURES) NEEDED

i rebuilt the engine in my 01 camry got everything in and back together, reinstalled the engine and now it wont start. has spark removed the plugs and the smell like fuel but arent soaked. The only thing in this process i didnt feel comfortable about is where all the engine grounds went back to. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

as long as the engine grounds are connected from the engine to the body, they arent important as far as where they go on the engine.

You have fuel, so thats good if you smell it. Next thing you want to check for is spark and make sure the plugs are firing.

Its alive!

Yeah i got out my test light and checked all the grounds they were all good, I was puzzled until my 78 yr old grandfather came out to help me pittle with it, and him being old school asked me "Have you been trying to pump the carb when you start it"? LOL He got in there and cranked on it while pressing the pedal back and forth and it tried to start. I told him give it about 1/4 throttle and boom it hit right off. But it would die @ idle. The only thing that i could think of is that the engine being bored .020 over it needed just a little bit more air to run, so after i got the idle raised sightly it runs just fine. Hopefully she's ready for another 315,000. thanks for the help
