Rough start off when engaging clutch/ clutch chatter.

So I just bought a 99 camry v6. The car is in great condition except it needs new struts and strut bearings/isolators. I posted on here and got my answer on that.

Now, the car will stutter a little or have some chatter in the clutch when you first start out from a dead stop. Also if you don't get the rpms up a little bit and be smooth with the clutch the car will shake and it makes a kinda crazy rattling sound. Almost like you were going to stall it, but the car will keep moving forward and eventually stop doing it..

Basically I think I need a new clutch and a machined fly wheel, but I also saw where someone said it could be an engine or tranny mount.. From what I can see without really digging in there the engine and tranny mounts look fine... But that doesn't mean anything I know.. suggestions? I serached and found a bunch of threads in some of the other sections, but didn't see anything in the 4th gen section..

I changed out the plugs yesterday and it seemed to help a tiny bit.. Not sure why changing the plugs when the car seemed to run great would make much of a difference, but the plugs definitely needed changed.. It still does it though..

yeah. mine does that. its stupid.

im pretty sure you just need to machine the flywheel. if you do that, you might as well wait till your clutch goes and machine the flywheel and put in a new clutch at the same time.
