ABS light reset

Does anyone know the procedure for resetting the ABS light on a 1993 Toyota Camry, OBD-1
the only reason it is on is because i had the battery disconnected for a few days while i was replacing the timing belt and other things. i do not have a OBD-1 scanner.

You just wanna reset the ABS system so the ABS error light goes out, right?... not retrieve the error codes? Then just pull the EFI fuse in one of the fuse boxes under the hood. Leave it out for a minute or so and then put it back in.

I have a hunch it'll just come back on, tho. What "other things" did ya do?

Just a little comment.

I bought this cool gadget from Walmart a while ago. It is made by NOCO. It's a plug in power source (9 volt battery) that goes into the cig lighter or ac port. It keeps all your settings and prevents the radio security code/ABS/Airbag light from coming on after the battery is disconnected. Lasts a long time with a good battery hooked up. It's worth the $5 and hassle of resetting radio/dash lights

If your lighter or power socket is only live with the ign. key on, I don't think it will work with the key off. And if you leave the key on, won't it also be trying to power everything else in the car? I am a bit leery of plugging a 9 volt battery into a live 12 volt socket. For all I know it may work perfectly 99.9% of the time but, I would be the 1%'er.

The device is designed for a 12 volt system. It works perfectly in my 96 3.5 gen Camry which this thread is for. 9 volt batterys power stun guns that produce 50,000 volts,...it's a matter of design and conversion. Not a hard thing to understand.

i disconnected the battery to change the timing belt, i also pulled the EFI fuse so i could crank the engine without it starting in order to loosen the crank shaft bolt because i don't have a big enough air compressor to run my impact gun. but i am sure nothing i wrong with my air bags, i found the post were they grounded the TC and AB pins in a sequence of 0.5 sec order, and it worked im going to give it a try when i get back from my business trip.

i have made my own 9v battery setup in the past and it worked, i just didn't think of it this time.
