Engine Swap Emissions Issues

I am currently swapping the engine in my 97 Camry (Fed emissions) and can get a good price on a 97 (Cali emissions) engine from a reputable source. Are there any problems with compatibility I should be aware of? I don't need to pass emissions tests of any sort in Minnesota, can the extra California emissions be disabled?

The replacement is a longblock so I would be using my own Fed emissions manifolds and fuel rail. Anyone know if there are issues on the head attaching the fuel rail or using federal emissions injectors? Can I just plug the air assist hose?

What engine is this? After doing extensive work on both gen 3&4 5SFE motors I can tell you for sure all the gasoline heads are the same so there is no problem with swapping mqn

Manifolds and fuel rails. Just make sure the California engine is a gasoline engine and not a natural gas engine.
