First, let me start off by saying that I am no stranger to Toyota at all. Had an 86 Corolla that I drove for 7 years and was still going when I sold it at 330K miles. Had a 92 SC400 for 3+ years that I just finished parting out and went looking for another DD. A Camry was looking practical and affordable and that's exactly what I wanted after trying to drive the SC in snow and was trying my best to keep repair costs under the several hundred dollar mark for any little thing.
Went to look at a 92 LE and was turned onto this 99. It is a 2-owner car with 103K miles. It was traded in by an 80yo man who apparently wasn't good at driving and even worse at 'fixing' things. It runs and drives like a brand new car, has all the maintenance records since 2004 and 79K miles, when this guy bought it. He kept up with all maintenance including oil changes with full synthetic oil, trans flushes, etc. Anyway, drove it around a bit and bought it that afternoon, less than 12 hours after it was traded in. Needless to say though, it needs some work.
The exterior of this car has really taken a beating from the PO. All in all, it's a very nice car that I picked up for a song and dance, the interior is spotless, never been smoked in...it just needs a little TLC on the outside. I'm no stranger to body work so I wasn't intimidated by that at all. For the price i paid, I'm not bitching at all!

So...obligatory pics as she sat when she got home.
