Please help: check engine light on after fixing oil pump

96 Camry 4cyd, 160K

I changed oil seal for oil pump, crankshaft and camshaft and replaced gasket for oil pump. When installing oil pump, I packed it with vaseline. Timing belt looks good and I re-installed it. But after driving 10 miles, I found CHECK engine light is on. I checked oil level, it's on full position. Is this oil pump prime problem? Or is it possible to get engine light on if I did something wrong with TB or oil pump installation?
