The car will not be prewired, but the kit from Walmart should have everything you need. I used a dremel to make a place to mount my switch in the blank cover just below my power mirror switch.

This is what I did, used 10 watt, 900 lumen led's. I like them a lot, I am sure it is more than the walmart lights but they are water proof and no bulb to burn out. They really do add some light if you want more than accent lighting.

its probably because of the output pattern. as you can see from the picture, the fogs look way brighter than your headlamps. thats because your fogs are shooting more light up to the camera then your headlamps. since not all of the light is concentrated where it needs to be, the beam on the ground will appear weaker.

there probably wouldnt be any other bulb (thats the same connector as the current bulb) that will allow a much higher light output. if you want light output from fog lights, maybe you can get some hella projector foglights. thats what the gen4's foglights (dealer aftermarket option) are and they seem to have a pretty 'bright' output.

i have adjusted the fogs still not very noticable..so they dont make like a 100w light bulb for these fogs (platinum burners) ? i also didnt hook them up straight to the +terminal i have them spliced onto the +wire on the healights so they only come on when im using the headlights..and where would i be able to get the 900 lumen led's how much $$ and how do i install? got photos you can share??

there shouldnt be. what bulbs are they ? h3 ? there are overwatt bulbs that draw more current but i doubt they make 100w.

also just throwing on two boards with leds on them wont do much good because it'll have a beam pattern of the led diode. for fog lights, you want a specific beam pattern and an unmodified led diode will just produce two cones of light.

The other place I bought them from had them listed with two other beam patterns.

Did you check out the vid in the my thread I linked? Very good beam pattern far from leds just on boards (they have other patterns available). Also very versatile you can couple as many as you want together, they will take 9-50 volts (some old jeeps and others use 24v for example) Very well made, if they weren't so much I might have doubled them up two on each side. Two would use way less watts than stock fogs ,not to mention halogens (no need to upgrade wiring) with way more toughness and life span.
