from there, there is an access panel to the top of the gas tank. remove the access panel, then remove the the screws, take off the fuel line connections, then pull out the fuel pump.

Release the fuel pressure first according to manual. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Exercise fuel related precautions. Use a new cap gasket etc.

Almostall 90s and up Toyota's have an access panel under the rear seats. If I remember right it's under the drivers side rear seat. You'll have to remove both seat so that you can pull up the carpet. There will be small clips holding the carpet in under the door trim parts. I accidentally broke them, but no biggie. Then there will be a black cover with 5 screws and a large wire going into it. Undue the screws and gently pull the cover up the wire. Then you'll see all your fittings that go on top of the fuel pump. Then it's just a matter of disconnecting fuel lines and plugs, removing the old, and in with the new.
