Transmission Stock Number

I have to replace the transmission in my 94 Camry 2.2L. Looking at the salvages on EBAY, I notice that the Interchange Part Number all seem to match - 400-61614

The Stock numbers however are all over the place eg.. Stock Number: JG1210; Stock Number: AA0041

Is there a way to match stock numbers to what I have in the car currently? By VIN? Does it matter as long as the Interchange Part Number is the same?

Any advice / recommendations before I go down this path?

Thanks in advance
dean

A stock number is commonly unique to the retailer. Like, it could be the row/bin/shelf the unit is sitting on. So reconciling them may be a useless exercise. But you should ask them what the stock number means/how they assign it.
