Electrical issue/clock resetting?!?

In short, sometimes (which is the biggest pain in the a$$) when I tax the electrical system, wipers, brights, stepping on brake, the lights dim and there is a substantial electrical draw. And sometimes I lose all electric for about 2 seconds, the clock resets to 0100 hrs and the radio turns off for about 2 seconds. The battery idiot light works and the battery cables are tight. Need help!

Sounds like yer battery might be hosed. Might want to have it load tested at AutoZone.

Another thing is to check that yer gitting proper voltage from the alternator. Might want to clean up those terminals. How many miles do you have on the alternator? How good are the brushes?
