Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
My camry bogs down when you take off from a stop between 1000rpm -2500rpm. Ive change my fuel filter, coolant temp sensor. There are no check engine lights on. what the hell is going wrong?
Need more info. What is the mileage? Service history? What engine? Has the timing belt been done recently? How long have you had this problem?

141,732.(since I got the car) water pump replaced, tuned up,aftermarket air intake, transmission serviced( although I cant do a flush) the trans fluid is brick red. new coolant temp sensor, and new fuel filter.
4 cylinder. and just plugs, transmission serviced, oil pan dropped and cleaned, and throttle body cleaned. I brought it to toyota and the guy said the timing is ok.
i did the test where i drove for an hour and looked to see if it was cherry red. it was not.
Also yes below 1000 rpm fine and above 2500rpm fine.when i take off from a complete stop its boging down like its about to die and it feels like it cycling through gears in like 3 seconds then drops to second.best way to describe it is .... ....... ......... .......................... spaces are where the bog happenes and my foot is on the gas the whole time.
I'm not sure what test you did but usually you connect the OHM meter (analog works best) and slowly depress/release the accelerator then watch for a steady and gradual increase/decrease in OHM readings. You're not looking for any one OHM value. Any interruption in resistance values would indicate a dead spot. Anyway, you replaced it and the problem is still there -
Try disconnecting the ECT after the car is warmed up and putting the engine in limp mode, then see how it runs. When it "drops to second" is that when it starts to accelerate normally?
